Veganuary is here and – if you’re not making the month-long vegan pledge yourself, chances are that you know someone who is. This year The Vegan Society is an official Veganuary partner, encouraging people to give up meat and animal-source foods until February.

In September 2019, Louise Davies from The Vegan Society spoke at a SERA event in Brighton; offering counterarguments to those who say that farming meat can be sustainable and imploring government to make switching to a plant-based diet easier for those with the inclination – which, after all, is an ever-growing percentage of the population, as concerns about climate change grow.

See Louise Davies’ contribution to ‘The Role of Food in Tackling the Climate Emergency’ debate above.
